The Manual UPVC Butterfly Valve is a centric butterfly valve made primarily of UPVC (Rigid Polyvinyl Chloride), It is specifically designed for corrosive media. Its core components (e.g., disc, sealing rings) can be lined with fluoroplastics (such as FKM, EPDM, NBR). By combining UPVC’s corrosion resistance with fluoroplastics’ high-temperature tolerance, this valve is suitable for automated control in applications involving strong acids, strong alkalis, high-purity fluids, and certain high-temperature environments. It is widely used in chemical, water treatment, food and pharmaceutical industries.

Installation Requirements​

Pre-treatment​​:

  • Clean the flange surface with isopropyl alcohol to remove mold release agent residue.
  • Residual mold release agent must not exceed ​1 μg/cm²​​. 

Welding Protection​​:

  • Welding operations are strictly prohibited within 1 meter of the valve body to prevent thermal deformation of the ABS material.
