The UPVC Double Union Ball Valve is manufactured from UPVC (Rigid Polyvinyl Chloride) using precision injection molding. The valve body features a double union (double flange) structure for quick installation and disassembly. The ball and seat are equipped with EPDM or PTFE soft seals, offering excellent acid and alkali resistance, making it suitable for controlling highly corrosive media under low-pressure and ambient temperature conditions. The lightweight valve body is rust-resistant and complies with ISO 161-1/BS standards, widely used in corrosive fluid pipeline systems in industries such as chemical processing, electroplating, and environmental water treatment

  • ​Liquids/Gases:​​ Water, weak acids, weak alkalis, organic solvents (e.g., hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, sodium hydroxide solution; concentration ≤30%).
  • ​Corrosive Media:​​ pH 1-14 (seal material must be adapted; EPDM suitable for pH 2-12, PTFE suitable for full range).
  • ​High-Purity Fluids:​​ Deionized water, pure water (requires PTFE seals).
    ​Primary Application Fields:​
  • ​Chemical Industry:​​ Acid pickling lines, chemical dosing systems.

Installation Requirements​

  • ​Pipeline Cleaning​​: Remove foreign particles from the pipeline before installation to avoid scratching the UPVC valve seat.
  • ​Union Installation​​:
    • Align the union nut with the pipeline threads, manually pre-tighten, then reinforce with a wrench (torque ≤30 N·m for DN50).
    • Do not use impact tools to prevent cracking of UPVC threads.
  • ​Flow Direction Marking​​: Bidirectional sealing design allows installation in any flow direction.
  • ​Operating Space​​: Ensure the handle rotation radius is ≥1.2 times the nominal diameter (DN) to avoid interference with equipment.
